Junior Inter class Elocution competition was conducted on 14th July 2022.
Elocution and Poetry, the highest form of literature, influences us because it shows different shades of human beings. In fact, poetry is one of the most ancient arts and also the product of human imagination. It expresses different feelings such as friendship, love, death and other human emotions. In literature, poetry stands first even today because poetry has such power to influence this world. Poetry is taught in schools and colleges across the world. The reason is that poetry can tap the emotions of students and their power of imagination.

Rabindranath Jayanti celebration (9th May 2022). They say a nation is defined by its literature and Rabindranath Tagore stands in the forefront of India’s rich literary heritage. A Nobel laureate for his book of poems Gitanjali in 1913 and with world class works under his belt, Rabindranath Tagore has gained fame on the world stage and will always stand foremost among the many who have made India proud. His unforgettable work has been translated in many languages and award winning movies have forever been etched in celluloid history. Who can forget his iconic work ‘The Kabuliwallah’ which tugs at the heartstrings to his classic Choker Bali. A poet, playwright , composer, painter, an essayist and a great social reformer who was way ahead of his time Rabindranath Tagore shines brightly amongst those who have reshaped human existence. It is a great honour to be here celebrating the man and the legacy he left behind.

This summer has been exceptional despite the searing heat wave we, the teachers and children still managed to come up with some novel ideas that tested both our physical as well as mental prowess. Here are a few glimpses on what we did. We hope that they learned valuable life skills as well as help them ignite their creativity.

International Red Cross Day

International Red Cross Day was celebrated on 8th May 2022 by the students. This was done to show gratitude to the numerous members and volunteers of the International Red Cross society for their immense contribution towards the nation. The Red Cross Society plays an important role in brokering peace and harmony amongst war torn countries and is a bright ray of hope in these troubled times.
